Christopher Clarke, founder of MINDFUL224, is a student-athlete on the Clark University men’s basketball team. Clarke created a mental health club within the university to build and foster community, which then led to the birth of MINDFUL224.
While doing so, Clarke sought out various methods to give students a new perspective on battling mental health and to understand that they are not alone in that fight.
Christopher Clarke’s experiences through college, basketball, and friendship have built him into the individual he is today. These experiences have shaped him and taught him the importance of community and the value of mental health. Clarke continues to fulfill his passion by giving back to the community and serving as a resource for those in need.

The club offers a fresh perspective on shared struggles while helping students realize they are not alone in their challenges. Pridgen has built strong relationships with participants, many of whom leave with new friendships, meaningful connections, and a deeper sense of belonging. Throughout it all, he remains a consistent, trusted resource for those in need of support.
Quentin’s journey through college, basketball, and friendship has given him a deeper appreciation for mental health organizations that are productive and hands-on. His goal throughout this process is to advocate for all students, athletes, and faculty members who need support.
